Uncle accompanied us to the neighborhood salt water outdoor pool; we appreciate family time!

 

Cups had fun - as long as she was not asked to swim in a pool where she could not reach the bottom.

We had a great time!  It takes a 15-minute hike through the park to get to the pool.  This may be a rare adventure in the future.

 First things first - lunch!

 Lunch was yummy, and we enjoyed the cone very much.

We thought that we'd have time to stop at the waterfall before the train ride, but we just had enough time to get there on time after lunch.

 He actually tried to put pieces together.

 Cups found a hat that fit him.

We are ready to head out for an adventure.

Play date with Louisa

Cups visited with Louisa at her house - painted on the window, had lunch, went to an art studio where the two threw paint against the wall/ceiling and came over to play for another bit before Louisa had to leave for her swimming class.  They had a wonderful time.  Louisa's mom did all the work - thank you so much!!

Day 4 of summer vacation

 

Oh yes, Mama retired from the corporate world for now.  In the new life Mama has renewed patience to push the kids around in this cart at a leisurely pace at Target. 

Cups shared ice cream from her Ben & Jerry's cup with Gofres.

With Cups out of school, we have more flexibility in the schedule.  After dinner Cups helped Mama turn the trailer into a stroller. 

Off we go to get air for the tires at the gas station.

Cups wanted to go to the park, too.  Mama is doing really well if her biggest stress of the day stems from putting a struggling child back in the stroller after playing at the park.
