Gift in the mail

A gift came from Auntie Nancy in the mail!

Cups opened the card first.

Can it really be a box of tissues?!

Ah!  There are two ceramic angels inside.  Thank you very much for thinking of us and the precious gift, Auntie Nancy!!

Cups' lap top

Welcome to Seattle, Uncle Ken.  Thank you for the Christmas gift, Auntie Karen.  Auntie Karen thought that this would get Cups off Mama's laptop.  Over the break Cups got addicted to watching cupcake making on YouTube.  Maybe Auntie Karen will get her a net book next, hahahahaha.

Cups does not go for pretending on the big items.  Cups asked Mama, "I have been on airplanes.  Will you take me on a helicopter sometime?"  Auntie Tonya took us to the Museum of Flight where they had a toy helicopter.  On the way out of the museum Cups asked, "When are we going on a real airplane again?"  And I guess there is no pretending when it comes to accessing the Internet.  Her aunties mean well!  Thank you very much!

Train!

After vising the Museum of Flight, we stopped by the International District for lunch.  We happened to bump into Daddy and his coworkers at the restaurant.  After lunch all of us stopped by Daddy's work to visit his new office in one of the Vulcan buildings.  On the way home we stopped by Mama's building to pick up the address book to send out the cards that Cups made for her friends during the break.  Cups was very excited to see the train come in the station.  We rode for two stops.

Museum of Flight

Auntie Tonya and Baby Elizabeth took us to the Museum of Flight.  Cups, where are you?

Pizza maker

The cafe was way busy, but Cups found herself a spot just fine.

Everett Children's Museum

We were off.  Nate was in the backseat, calling for Auntie Princess from time to time.

Cups had her new puppy with her.

Nate was the pilot in a pilot jacket - very good looking.

Cups and Nate played at the train station.

Nate loved the trains.

Cups milked a cow.

And rode a sheep.  Do they really do this on the farm?

Nate rode the pony, but Cups did not want to.

She would rather throw rope around mallards as instructed by the sign.

 

This was the sensor room, and Auntie Robin and Cups were on the screen.

Cups was pretty reserved the whole time; on the other hand, Nate had no trouble mingling with the children at all.

Cups made pizza in the cafe.

Cups doctored a rat.

Before we left Cups picked up all of the animals on the floor and put them back in the cages so that "they could eat and sleep."

Nate and Cups' objective for Connect Four was to fill the whole board.

They did well filling in a few times.

The kids liked this game.

Auntie Robin was generous and cleared her wallet of coins. Mama donated two cents.

Nate loves the construction area.

It was fun to watch Nate.

After this the moms were ready for a break and lunch.  We had a yummy lunch and headed home for a nap!  Mama lives for these naps during her vacation.

Stickers in cards

Making a thank-you card for Uncle Scott, Auntie Brooke and Kellan inspired us to make other cards filled with stickers from Cups' book of 700+ stickers from Uncle Michael and Auntie Penny. Cups was very diligent about cutting out the stickers - even some from the middle of the pages.

We are on vacation.  We stayed up until 11 that night.

More cards!

Cups said, "Maybe this is from Santa!"  Santa (aka Auntie Hope) had sent us a penguin card earlier.

Cups gasped when she saw these very cute stickers from Uncle Scott, Auntie Brooke and Kellan for her birthday.  Thank you very much!!!

The day after Christmas

We had dinner at Uncle Tim and Auntie Robin's house on Christmas, but Mama did not take any pictures. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Uncle Tim and Auntie Robin!  

The day after Christmas we had lunch at Uncle Kai and Auntie Tonya's. Baby Elizabeth is growing up fast.
