Gingerbread house at MM

Metropolitan Market close to home offered a free gingerbread house class with the purchase of a kit. Cups had asked to build one, so Mama was more than ecstatic when she found an opportunity to make it happen.  Mama is not the most helpful person in the kitchen.

They served the children cookies and water and had frosting ready for us.  Cups and Mama got to work.

The walls were up - yay!

The roofs were up, and Cups was already putting candy on the roof.

It is looking good, Cups.

Good work, Cups!  (We had an hour, so it was quite intense as easy a concept as it seemed.  Two houses toppled at the very end.  We were lucky.)

Cups was able to identify her house in this picture.

The staff took the children down to the cafe to get hot chocolates to give the frosting a little time to dry.
