Happy birthday, Cups and Gofres!

The party was a huge success. The kids had a blast, and I was very impressed myself.  At the end of the party even I was tired from having all that fun. THANK YOU VERY MUCH everyone for coming and your generosity. You donated over $200, and the kids still had presents to enjoy. It surely was much of a win-win situation. Okay, now I move into the kitchen to make cupcakes for Cups' class tomorrow.
Gofres is turning 2 on the 16th, and Cups is turning 7 on the 13th.
They had a joint birthday party.
Everyone decorated bags for the goodies that they were about to make.

Everyone listened to instructions for making lip balm. . .out of Vaseline and Kool-Aid powder, right.

Grape, Cherry, Tropical Fruit and Raspberry!

 All done!  Next!
The kids watched and listened to a bath bomb fizz in the water.

The kids stirred the ingredients of bath bombs.

 Hello, Uncle Chris!

With all hands washed, Cups, the special assistant for the day, added the ingredients for the ice cream to the bucket.
Kate explained the importance of having goggles and gloves on and the kids seated while she handled liquid nitrogen to turn milk into ice cream.

Kate walked around, and everyone got to feel liquid nitrogen smoke on their heads.  It was quite a show.

The science-y cake that the Lab provided.  Gofres had two candles, and Cups had seven.

Mmm yummy pink liquid nitrogen vanilla ice cream.

Uncle James couldn't get enough; it was that good.
Dreams do come true. Cups got matching pajamas to her American Girl Doll.
