Toy Story 3

We got back from visiting with Grandpa and Grandma relatively early, so Mama and Cups caught the 4:15 showing of Toy Story 3.  Cups was so excited that we left the house half an hour before show time even though we live just a block and half from the movie theater.  She did not mind waiting.  Mama thought that we would get one last free movie in before Cups turned four, but the movie theater changed its policy.  This was Cups' first paying movie.

Cups watching the preview. . .

Cups wanted to leave when the toys started panicking about their destiny - at the very beginning of the movie?!  Their worrying was too much for a sympathetic Cups.  Mama wouldn't leave.  Did she mention that she had to pay for Cups this time?  Cups watched most of the movie in Mama's lap.  They both liked the movie.

When they left the movie theater, the first thing Cups said to Mama, "The bear told the baby that her Mama was never coming back.  You always come back."  If Mama does not pick up Cups, the $2/minute fine after the daycare closes can get hefty.  Then she asked, "Why did Mr. Potato Head tell the peas to not play in his butt?"  Mama could not remember the scene.  This is one of the memorable quotes from the movie: Mr. Potato head [to the Peas-in-a-Pod] I told you kids to stay out of my butt!
