Cups asked to have shell pasta for dinner. After dinner she claimed that she did not want to go to the bakery to celebrate her birthday - really, Mama and Daddy's dessert plan foiled. When Mama came out of the bathroom, she cracked up. Cups had finished watching her Winnie the Pooh movie and was ready to go. (It normally takes quite a while to coax her into her shoes and jacket.)
Cups brought her wallet. She was treating! Mama has asked her what she would do when she ran out of money. She said that she would just get more from Mama or Daddy. Her reasoning was that if she paid, Mama and Daddy wouldn't have to pay. She's helping!
Cups had her favorite - raspberry chocolate mousse. The nice gentleman at the bakery gave her a macaroon, also her favorite, for her birthday, and she picked mint flavor

We stopped by the deli down the block and got some Loacker hazelnut wafers.

At school today she told Marji that she feels special everyday - awww.
