Evelyne left for Marseille with a friend for a weekend get-away after work Friday and return Sunday evening. I would leave for South France Saturday evening and return Monday morning. I was to leave the keys with the apartment manager before she left for the day at 11 am. I left the apartment at 9 am. I had the whole day to hang out.
From Champ Elysees I worked my way to Fachon, a gourmet store, with vague memories from my last trip with John about six or seven years ago. I made it. :)
I thought that I'd try a dessert in their dessert shop which we did not do last time. When I got there I did not have much of an appetite still. I had cherry tomatoes, a banana, a sandwich and half a piece of dessert the first day. For the second day I had a few figs and pain de chocolat for most of the day.
From Fachon I walked towards Galeries LaFayette, a department store. #42 bus, its bus stops and stores that I remembered from the bus route the day before guided me.
This place sold to-go pasta in cups - cute!
These reusable bags folded into bears - cute!
Make-up artists worked on passengers waiting on the side of the rode - never seen this before!
